Plena Inclusión Madrid presents iDEM at the XII International Scientific Conference on Research on People with Disabilities

Plena Inclusion Madrid has participated in the XII International Scientific Conference on Research on People with Disabilities, organized by the University Institute of Community Integration (INICO) from the University of Salamanca. This multidisciplinary meeting brings together experts in education, social services and health with the aim of disseminating scientific advances and innovations in the field of disability.

In this framework, Almudena Rascón, from the Accessibility Area of ​​Plena Inclusion Madrid, has participated in the Roundtable «Cognitive accessibility: keys to inclusion and citizen participation» with the presentation ‘iDEM: Research project for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in democratic processes’. Throughout the talk, she presented the iDEM project.  Namely, how it seeks to advance accessibility through technology and how its beneficiaries will participate in the project.
