iDEM was presented by Horacio Saggion and Cristina Astier at the AI Fairness Cluster Conference & AIMMES Workshop 2025. The event was made up of a conference and workshop on addressing the complex challenges of AI bias and fairness.
As AI systems become more embedded in everyday applications involving decision-making with potential high societal impact, understanding and mitigating AI biases is essential to ensure that these technologies operate in an equitable, transparent, and accountable manner.
